Find an available lessonWhat We Can Work On
Lessons are built around the questions or skills you most want to improve, rather than a fixed programme.
Timed TMUA questions and strategic review
Work through selected practice questions with a clock running, then review where time was lost and when a shorter approach is possible.
Logical reasoning and necessary/sufficient conditions
Practise interpreting logical statements, recognising necessary and sufficient conditions and testing conclusions with counterexamples.
Algebraic shortcuts, accuracy and question selection
Revisit factorisation, manipulation and exact-value techniques, with an emphasis on choosing efficient methods and avoiding common errors.
You are welcome to send questions or practice papers beforehand so we can concentrate on the most useful material during the lesson.
How Your Lesson Is Prepared
I have taught more than 8,000 online lessons and use shared OneNote working, targeted questions and follow-up materials to make one-to-one sessions productive.
Bring the questions you want to tackle
Send through tricky practice or specimen questions beforehand. We can work through your reasoning together and focus on the techniques that will be most useful in the time remaining.
For a starting point, see my TMUA preparation checklist or entrance-test diagnostic questions. These are examples of the resources I use to identify priorities, not a substitute for timed practice.
