A-Level Maths & Further Maths Groups
Structured weekly tuition for A-Level and International A-Level students who want specialist teaching, challenging exam practice and direct feedback without the cost of a one-to-one lesson.
UK and international students welcome.

What the lesson actually looks like
A Working Lesson, Not a Webinar
Students do not simply watch me present solutions. We work through mathematics together, compare methods and build complete solutions live in OneNote.
- I can see students' working and respond to mistakes as they happen.
- Different approaches can be compared without losing the thread of the lesson.
- The shared notes remain available afterwards for revision.
- Questions are selected to develop both understanding and exam performance.
How the Groups Work
I build the group first, then agree the recurring time. You do not need to reserve an inconvenient slot while a group is still forming.
1. Enquire
Tell me the course, exam board, school year, time zone and the times that could work for you.
2. I Match Students
I look for compatible level, syllabus and availability, rather than putting unrelated students together simply to fill a group.
3. The Group Starts
Once there is a viable match, I propose a recurring time. You can then decide whether you would like the place.
What Is Included
Focused Teaching
Each session has a clear mathematical or exam focus rather than becoming a general homework drop-in.
Exam Practice
Students work through carefully selected questions, then compare methods, common errors and more efficient approaches.
Homework & Feedback
Short targeted homework keeps momentum between lessons and helps identify topics that need revisiting.
Further Mathematics
Further Maths Has a Proper Place Here
I particularly enjoy teaching Further Mathematics and cover Core Pure together with the major applied options, including Further Mechanics, Further Statistics, Decision and Further Pure.
Further Maths groups will only be formed where students are following sufficiently compatible content and options. For now, students can enquire through the same form so I can see where genuine demand exists.
Why this matters
Further Maths is not treated as an afterthought. If enough compatible students register, it can become a dedicated small group rather than being mixed into a standard A-Level class.
What Students and Parents Say
A couple of A-Level-specific examples from my existing reviews.
“A huge improvement from the D he got in his mock – he achieved an A at A level. Due largely to your expert guidance.”
Parent of A-Level student
“I just wanted to let you know that I got an A* in further maths – I could not have got consistently good results without your help.”

International students
Designed Around Compatible Time Zones
Groups are open to students in the UK and overseas. Weekday morning and early-afternoon UK times can work particularly well for students several hours ahead of the UK.
When you enquire, give your country or time zone and several possible times in your local time. Where possible, Year 12 and Year 13 students will be grouped separately, and students following significantly different specifications will only be grouped together where the content is sufficiently compatible.
Courses Covered
A-Level Maths, Pearson Edexcel International A-Level, Cambridge International and Further Maths enquiries.
The form asks for exam board and time zone so I can match students sensibly.
Enquire
There is no fixed weekly time at this stage. Give as much availability as you reasonably can; I will contact you when a compatible group can be formed.
Group Details
£40 per student per 60-minute session
Maximum 6 students
Weekly online lesson

No Slot to Reserve Yet
I first build a pool of compatible students. Once enough students have overlapping availability, I propose a recurring time.
